Mr. Stancel Eugene Gibbs, age 79 yrs., passed away at home on Friday, August 8, 2025. He was the son of Mr. Charles and Nellie Faye Gibbs of Gainesville, Ga.

Funeral arrangements will be on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Stewart will be officiating the service. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 PM.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Gibbs of Gainesville, Ga; daughter, Kimberly Gibbs and Kevin Senter of Oakwood, Ga; granddaughters, Kira and Renee Senter of Oakwood, Ga; his grandson, Casey Gibbs and wife Brandi of Braselton, Ga; great-grandchildren, Logan Bromley, Annalisa Gibbs, Aaron and Landon Gibbs, and Aiden Gibbs of Braselton, Ga.

He is also survived by his sister Charlene Young and children of Cleveland, Ga; his sister-in-law Betty Jo Turner of Cleveland, Ga; niece and nephew, Teresa and Dean Morris of Gainesville, Ga; and a number of nieces, nephews, and brother and sister-in –laws.

He is preceded in death by his son Stacey Gibbs.

Eugene was employed at Cantrell Machine Co. of Gainesville and he worked and retired from Prime Poultry Products. He attended Cornerstone Tabernacle Church of Oakwood, Ga. He will be missed greatly.
