Stanislaw (Stanley) Hodor, 85, of Wayne, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Born on July 12, 1939, in Zarebki, Poland, son to Antoni and Katarzyna Hodor. He will be joining his siblings, Wladyslaw Hodor, Stella Wyskiel, Jozia Lenart, Marysia Rzasa, Hela Lubera, Zosia Rzasa, and Jasiek Hodor in eternal rest.
Stanley was a man whose life was defined by unwavering dedication to his family. He was the rock on which his children and grandchildren leaned on, always placing their needs above his own. His greatest joy was seeing his family happy, and he gave selflessly to ensure they never went without.
Stanley's workshop was his haven, and his legacy is etched in every joint, carving, and grain of wood he lovingly shaped. Beyond his craft he was generous with his time, always willing to fix something, build something, or simply lend a helping hand. He was gifted in having what his mother-in-law called "hands of gold", he was able to do anything. He approached life with quiet determination and steady grace. His legacy lives on in the things he built, the people he helped, and the love he gave so generously.
Stanley was a loving husband to his beloved Danuta, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage. Their bond was a testament to love, respect, and partnership. Now and forever, he will always be her "Kotku." He is also survived by his daughters Joanna (Christopher Norton), Barbara (Shawn Barger), and Christa (John Oseback), loving grandchildren, Jordan (Tyler Kypers), Rachel, Kevin, Katie, Stanley, Jack, and Ava, and loyal dog Mila.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visiting Sunday, June 29, 2 - 6 PM and Monday, June 30, 6 - 8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Tuesday 9:45 AM at the funeral home and 11 AM at St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church, Garfield. Interment, Our Lady of Czestochowa, Doylestown, PA.
