Stanley Adams

Stanley A. Adams passed away peacefully on October 12, 2022, at the age of 92. Son of Adam and Helen Adamkowski, Stan was raised in Newark, New Jersey until he joined the Navy at the age of 17 and traveled the world for five years on various submarines. He married the love of his life, Eugenia P. Wylie, on July 19, 1952, until Jeanne lost her long battle with cancer in 1985.
Stan spent 27 years with the New Jersey State Police and retired as Detective First Class in 1981. He then spent five years with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
Golfing was Stan's passion which he passed along to his three sons (he shot his age at 90). He almost had a hole in one after hitting the first ball in the water and the second tee shot found the bottom of the cup. He was known for his love of all sports and his favorite activity was rooting against the Yankees. He also played minor league baseball with the Philadelphia Athletics organization.
Stan leaves behind his children, Daryl Beale, Robert Adams, Doreen Senno, Stephen Adams and Douglas Adams, 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the local chapters of the American Cancer Society.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 18th from 6pm-9pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville, NJ 08721.
