Funeral Mass for Stanley James Bordelon of Simmesport beginning at 12:00pm on Monday, July 17, 2023, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Simmesport. Burial & military honors will follow at the Christ the King Cemetery.
Stanley J. Bordelon, age 66, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023, at his home in Simmesport. Stanley served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a longtime Simmesport VFW POST 7643 member. He was the founder of Soil Erosion Services in Simmesport.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 49 years, Vickie Bordelon of Simmesport; son, Joshua Bordelon (Danielle) of Lettsworth; daughters, Anita Galland (Corey) of Hessmer and Kassy Feduccia (Tony) of Simmesport; siblings, Betty Rabalais, Timmy Bordelon, Rilan Bordelon; 6 grandchildren: Koby Galland (Madison), Abigail Galland, Kylee Feduccia, Katee Feduccia, Maggie Bordelon, and Jaxon Bordelon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Sarah Bordelon; and brother, Quincey “Jay” Bordelon.
Visitation will begin at 8:00am until 11:45am on Monday, July 17, 2023, at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport. Rosary prayer will begin at 9:30am.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Escude Funeral Home (318-964-2324) 625 Main St. Simmesport, LA 71369.
