Reflections of Life
Stanley Leon Bracy, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished member of his community passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, surrounded by his family after a brief illness.
Born April 12, 1965, in
Memphis, Tennessee to the late Jessie and Minnie B. Bracy, Stanley was a man known for his unwavering faith, gentle kindness, quiet strength, and spiritual wisdom. He was the youngest of 9 children. Stanley was proceeded in death by his parents; two sisters: Joann Henderson, Sonya Lee; one brother: Bishop J.W. Bracy; his oldest son: Stanley Leon Bracy, Jr.; one grandson De'KariRutledge; his father-in-law: Wilson Norman; brother-in-law: Maurice Shipp
Stanley accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. Stanley was a member of Greater Imani Church, The Cathedral of Faith for 14 years until his death.
Stanley graduated from Southside High School in May 1984. Stanley was a certified licensed Journeyman Iron Worker for several years until 2010 when he started his own lawn service, Smoo-Cuts, which was his passion. His logo was, "For the Best in the Contest call Stan the Man". He took a lot of pride in his work. He was often told that he cut and edged yards like he cuts hair. He was also a barber on the side.

On March 25, 2006, Stanley married the love of his life, Trinna DiannNorman, beginning a love story that became an inspiration to all who knew them. They built a life filled with love, support, and shared memories. This year they celebrated 19 years of marriage and 27 years of togetherness. They were inseparable. Stanley and Trinna had a combined of 8 children. His family was his pride and joy, and he worked tirelessly to ensure they had everything they needed.
Stanley kindness, generous heart, and sense of humor touched everyone he met. He was a man of great integrity and warmth, and his legacy of love and loyalty will be carried on by his family and friends. His devotion and dedication to his wife and family has inspired many. He will be deeply missed by all he knew.

Norman; sisters: Brenda Shipp, Cheryl Childs; brothers: Charles Bracy (Charlene), Kenneth Bracy (Jocelyn), Michael Bracy (Vivian); sisters-in-law: Marilyn Hope (Shannon), Denise Norman, Helen Bracy and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, friends, and the entire Greater Imani Church, The Cathedral of Faith Family and Union Grove Holiness Church Family.

The family will receive friends for a visitation Friday, November 14, 2025 from 6:30pm-8:30pm at R.S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Home 3651 Austin Peay Hwy,
Memphis, TN 38128. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025 10:00am at Greater Imani Church 3824 Austin Peay Hwy,
Memphis, TN 38128.
Internment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, 824 Dudley St,
