Stanley Ray "Stan" Corfman

Stanley Ray Stan Corfman, age 89, of Havre de Grace, MD, was taken home by God on Sunday, August 14, 2022, in the Christiana Care Center of Newark, DE.
Born on May 6, 1933 in Mount Blanchard, OH, he was the son of the late Ray and Avalene Corfman. Mr. Corfman served as a corporal in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955. He married Juanita England in 1955. Stanley attended the Columbus College of Art and Design from 1956 to 1960, and he worked as an art director for Marathon Oil Company for their Marathon World magazine from 1960 to 1986. Post-retirement, he enjoyed a second career in real estate sales in Pensacola, FL. During his retirement years, he became a long-time member of Grace Community Church in Pensacola.
Always quick with humor and hospitality, Mr. Corfman loved spending time with family and friends. He would constantly be found engaged in conversations, spending his efforts to maintain relationships with friends old and new. Stan excelled at speaking and writing along with photography, art and design producing many sketches, prints and paintings with impact over his lifetime.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte Taylor of Findlay, OH. Stan is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Waldo of Findlay, OH; his son, Brandon Corfman and wife Doris of Havre de Grace, MD; and his two grandchildren, Alayna and Jacob. He is now with his Savior and is still loved by so many family members and friends who will miss his warmth and enthusiasm.
Interment will be held privately in Grove Cemetery, Kenton, OH.
