Stanley Joseph Dabrowski

Stanley Joseph Dabrowski, age 82. died Monday, May 4, 2015 at A Room at the Inn - Adult Foster Care Home in Warren. Stanley was born January 7, 1933 in Poland and later would emigrate to America. As a young man in the United States, Mr. Dabrowski answered the call to serve his new country in the armed forces,...proudly serving from November 1952 until November of 1954 in our great United States Army. Following his honorable discharge from the Army, Stanley would meet and fall in love with the girl of his dreams, Sophie Gawel. This ultimately led to the vows they shared declaring them husband & wife. In October of 2014, the loving couple celebrated 59 wonderful years of marriage together. Stanley worked hard as a commercial roofer to provide for his family; he was living the American dream. His service to our country, and his ability to support his family, instilled an ironclad feeling of patriotism to these United States. Stanley was the loving husband of Sophie. Beloved father of Linda (Michael) Hefferan and Theresa Connors. Dear grandfather of Kimberly, Kristin, Logan, Luke and Alaina. Visitation for Stanley will be held Wednesday, May 6th from 3-9 pm, with a 5:30 pm Rosary Service, at D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common (12 1/2 Mile Rd.) in Warren. He will lie in state on Thursday from 10:00 am until time of the funeral mass at 10:30 am at St. Faustina Catholic Church, 14025 E. 12 Mile Road in Warren.
