Stanley N Dingus

Stanley N Dingus, 84, of Lakehurst died Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Ocean University Medical Center, Brick. Born and raised in West Virginia, he lived in the Bronx before moving to Lakehurst in 1972. He joined the Marines in 1958 and served until 1964. He worked for the US Postal Service Fleet Maintenance as a diesel mechanic before retiring in 2004. He was a member of the American Legion and Central Jersey Rifle Club. He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. He loved children especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Stanley is predeceased by his wife Lois M Dingus in 2019. Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Scott & Lisa Dingus, Matthew & Jennifer Dingus, sister, Linda Muncy, grandchildren, Ashleigh (Marc), Logan (Alexis), Jakob, Ava, Gabriella, Savine, Sophie, great grandchildren, Blake, Oliver, Colton and River. Visitation will be Friday 4-8 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Rd, Manchester. A chapel service will be held Saturday 10 AM at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
