Stanley C. Knoderer, 75, of Pataskala, Ohio, passed away at his home on March 30, 2024.
Stan was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 4, 1949, to the late William H. ("Bump") and Ernestine Knoderer.
Stanley graduated from Watkins Memorial High School in 1967. Stanley was a combat Veteran of the Vietnam War. He honorably served with Headquarters 7 th Army, USAREUR and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, 2 Overseas Service Bars, and the M-16 Sharp Shooter Badge. Stan was a successful business owner of South Dayton Travel for several years and retired in 2021 as the Road Superintendent of Truro Township where he proudly maintained Silent Home Cemetery. Stan loved golf and his quick wit matched perfectly with his fast backswing. His compassionate nature was reflected through his love of animals, especially his late pit bull rescue, Noustie. He humbly volunteered and donated to several U.S. Veteran and Memorial organizations and animal rescue groups.
Stanley is survived by 2 daughters Camille Foskett (Dustin) of Eugene, OR and Corinne Knoderer of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren Caroline, Cecilia and Christian Foskett; twin sister Pamela "Pammy" Toney and her husband Robert Toney; former wives Beverly Knoderer and Theresa Knoderer; Cousin Marsha Abbott (Jeff) and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Stan is preceded in death by his brother William "Bill" Knoderer, grandparents Marshall and Esther Francis, grandfather William Knoderer, and Aunt Bea (Charlie) Zeune.
Stan, also known as Dad, Brother, Gramps, Gruncle, Bud, will be deeply missed by the many friends and family who loved him deeply. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Licking County Humane Society, https://lchspets.org/, or Wreaths Across America, http://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org.
