Stanley Lozinski Jr, age 85, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2022. He was born in Denver, CO on December 12,1936 to Stanley and Mildred Lozinski. He was the oldest of 3 boys.
Stan served honorably in the Navy along with his two brothers with whom he was very close. After the Navy, he became a skilled pipefitter/welder and worked on numerous large projects including the Alaskan pipeline.
Stan was an excellent bowler and bowled his whole life up until age 84. The past several years he was in a bowling league along with his son Mike. He was friends with everyone at the bowling alley. He was highly competitive and was proud of his team's 1st and 2nd place finishes while he was in his 80's. In his younger years he loved to hunt big game and passed that love onto his son.
Stan was a true ladies man. He hugged everyone and loved to joke around. He also loved giving gifts and was very generous.
After being surrounded by males his whole life with 2 brothers and 3 sons, Stan had a daughter named Suzy. She was the light of his life. They had a close relationship and in recent months he lived with her and her husband up until the time of his passing.
Stan loved the Lord and passed into the arms of Jesus with his family by his side.
He is survived by his 3 sons, Mike (Tammy) Lozinski, Mark (Mickey) Lozinski and Karl Lozinski and his daughter Suzy (Adrian) Mathews. Two brothers, Bob (Martha) Lozinski and Jack Lozinski. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow the service at Fort Logan National Cemetery with full military honors.
