Stanley E. Meyers SR, age 85 passed away on Sunday February 23rd at home in Oshkosh. He was born on January 30, 1940 to Rudolph and Edna {Weber} Meyers. Stan married Barbara Fox on October 26. 2001 they enjoyed going on Gold Wing motorcycle rides local with the club and all over the US. He enjoyed watching westerns {especially Gunsmoke}, playing cribbage and hand and foot. He also used to fish all the time with his son Stan Jr. He worked at and retired from Oshkosh B'Gosh. Stan was a jokester at heart and had fun giving everyone a hard time.
Survivors include his children Marcella Meyers, Rudy Meyers, Marie {George} Kaufman and Stacy Fox, His grandchildren Eric Meyers, Monica Kruse, Lexi Hegner, Brie Meyers, Shane Daney, Shawn Daney, Liz Meyers and Kayla Meyers. His siblings Delores Oesterich and Lawrence {Peggy} Thielke and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Stan was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Barbara Meyers, his children Stanley Meyers JR, Kari Ann Farmer and grandson Josh Meyers. He was also preceded in death by his siblings Ronald, Marlin and Marvin Thielke and his sister Darlene Thielke Derwin. He was also preceded in death by his good friend Jill Pankratz.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date,Stan's family would like to tank his doctor Sara Kolell and Marissa, Jessica and Liz from Compassus for their support over the last few months

My sympathies to the family. Stan the Man, you had a heart of gold. Always willing to do whatever you could for anyone. It was fun working with you at OBG. I'll never forget the squirt gun fights at the old factory! You were quite the entertainer! You made this world we live in just a little brighter! RIP friend! ~"Cartwright"
