Born April 15, 1963, in Orange County, he was the son of Ernest C. Moffatt and Shirley M. (Clay) Hatton. Stan married Carla M. Krebbs on March 15, 1992 and she survives.
Stan worked as a truck driver for many different companies and even owned his own trucking company at one point. He loved being outside tinkering, working on cars, and riding his Harley.
Surviving is his wife, Carla Marie Moffatt of Bedford; children, Tessa Hostetler of Bedford and Jasmine Purtlebaugh of Mitchell; step-son, Kevin (Sarah) Fulford of Bloomington; grandchildren, Dylan Deckard, Caden Deckard, Eli Deckard, Bentley Moffatt, Brooke Fulford, Brianna Pickett, Colton Pickett, Sabastian Pickett, and Jaylynn Purtlebaugh; and siblings, Ron (Ruth) Moffatt of Columbus, Tim Moffatt of Bloomington, and Kelly (Glenn) Weaver of Bedford.
His parents and step-son, Brian Fulford, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 16, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Bob Radcliff officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
