Stanley William Parmet

Stanley William Parmet, age 96, passed away on May 11, 2025, in Sarasota, FL surrounded by
his family. He was born on December 30, 1928, in Atlanta, GA.
Stanley began his career in the Air Force during the Korean War, worked on Wall Street as a
stockbroker, and eventually became a business owner.
Stanley worked hard, loved life, his family and was a wonderful father. He loved his dogs and
took such great care of them that people would tell him they wanted to come back as his pet.
Always one to lend a helping hand when he could to others, whether it was a neighbor or an
employee, he had a truly kind heart. In his younger years he was known to be a sharp dresser
and in his later years he could be seen driving around Sarasota in his Mini Cooper wearing his
driving cap. He kept up with the latest health trends but never lost his sweet tooth and love of
dessert, which he had every day.
Stanley is now in heaven with the mother of his children, Rene Parmet, and his family that has
preceded him in death. He will always be lovingly remembered by his children: Shelly Parmet
Evans of Sarasota and Darryl (Jackie) Parmet of Tampa. His grandchildren: Marshall Evans of
Orlando, Dylan Parmet, and Devin Parmet of Tampa. His niece Sheri (Jim) Greb of Roanoke
and his grand dogs: Lily, Rosie and Jethro.
Stanley was a very wonderful and sweet man who will be missed greatly.

Services are June 6th, 2025, at 1:30 pm at the Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road
72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
