He is survived by his wife, Norine Pelkey of the home; son, James Pelkey and wife, Jill of Stokesdale, NC; brothers, Gerald Pelkey, John Pelkey and Donald Pelkey.
Military Graveside Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 58 on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin, VA beginning at 2:00pm. Ty Harrison will officiate.
