Stanley Redrow Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Adams Funeral Home - Woodstown on Oct. 7, 2024.
Stanley R. Redrow, 82, of Elmer, passed away on October 4, 2024. Born in Woodbury, Stanley was the son of Stanley and Emma Schomber Redrow. He graduated from Swedesboro High School in 1960 and immediately started working for South Jersey Gas as a meter reader. He would eventually retire as an allocation supervisor. He also was in the National Guard for 6yrs. Stanley grew up and spent most of his adult life working the family farm in Deptford Twp, growing soybeans and corn. He loved spending time with his hunting beagles, spending most days especially after retiring, raising, training, attending field trials, and hunting rabbits with them. He was an avid hunter and a lifelong member of the 6666 Gun Club in Mays Landing. He spent many years coaching Elmer Little League. He also spent much of his spare time taking Michelle to all her 4h horse activities and eventually attending the same competitions with Charlee and Jaycee. His reward for having to suffer thru all those horse events was attending the Salem Co Fair and getting his BBQ chicken and rib dinners. When he wasn't attending all the various activities, Stanley and June spent many vacations camping and hiking up and down the east coast.
He is survived by his first wife Marie Newkirk (Bob), their sons, Keith and Scott Redrow, and his grand daughter Macayla Frampton (Ivan); longtime companion June Carlantonio, her daughter Michelle Redrow (Mark), and her grandchildren Charlee and Jaycee Redrow. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Laurie McGaha Redrow, her daughter Krystin McGaha, her grandchildren Brianna Shields, Jon Sutton, and Faith Loper, and her great granddaughter Evie as well as Jon's father Jon Sutton.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024 at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery at 1 PM.
In leu of flowers, donations can be made to: Salem County 4-H Hoofbeats, Attn: Cheryl Johnson, Treasurer, 99 Commissioners Pike, Woodstown, NJ. 08098 in Stanley's memory.
