Dr. Stanley CW Salvary, a beloved husband, father, professor, and cherished member of the community, passed away peacefully at his home in Sunrise, Florida on November 18, 2023.
He was a loving husband to his wife Veronica for 65 years, their bond was a testament to the power of love and unity even through life's challenges. He found great joy in being a father to his five daughters, Sharlene, Susan, Lisa, Roxanne, and Keisha, and being a grandfather to four wonderful grandchildren. He enjoyed playing the piano and listening to steel pan music.
Born in Trinidad on November 21, 1937, Dr. Salvary had a passion for education that shaped his entire life. Driven by his commitment to excellence, he obtained a Doctorate in education and became an esteemed figure within the accounting field for his teaching, research and global presentations. He dedicated himself to learning and inspiring others to pursue knowledge.
In addition to being survived by his wife, Veronica and daughters he is survived by his brother Alexander Salvary; his son-in-law Frank Petrolo; his grandchildren: Alexandra Petrolo, Matthew Petrolo, Jay Skilnick, and Acadia Skilnick, as well as Isaiah Lynch and his in-laws Philomena Lakhan, Theresa DeSouza, Julie DeFreitas (deceased), Andrew Rodriguez, Joseph Rodriguez (deceased), John Rodriguez, and Michael Rodriguez.
A visitation will be held on November 21, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home located at 7001 NW 4th St in Plantation, Florida. This will provide an opportunity for family and friends to pay their respects and offer condolences to the grieving family. Photos are not permitted during this time.
A celebration of life Mass will take place on November 22, 2023, at 10:00 AM at All Saints Catholic Church located at 10900 W Oakland Park Blvd in Sunrise, Florida.
May Dr. Stanley CW Salvary rest in eternal peace knowing the impact he made during his time with us was immeasurable and everlasting. Following the service, the family requests privacy at their home. Arrangements by T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home.
