Stan L. Kostanoski of Ferndale, Washington passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at the age of 82.

He was born December 23, 1942 in Long Beach, California to John and Georgia (Klinger) Kostanoski, and he grew up in Geneva, Ohio. At 18, he joined the Navy, proudly serving for four years on active duty and one year in the reserves. Following his time in the military, he felt called to serve the Lord and moved to Oregon to attend Multnomah Bible School, where he met the love of his life, Phyllis Hanson. They married on September 10, 1966 and recently celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary.

Stan built his career as a Real Estate Agent, working for more than 35 years, and together with Phyllis, raised their family in Ferndale, Washington. He especially enjoyed being outdoors, caring for his lawn and garden, and reading. For 43 years, he made his home on the Brown Road, before moving into town for the past six years. He was a devoted member of Good News Fellowship.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis, his three children Kristine (Kevin), Scott (Donna), Cheryl, and 4 grandchildren.

Donations may be made to The Lighthouse Mission.

At his request, there will be a private family graveside with Military Honors and a public memorial reception on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 1:00PM at Goodnews Fellowship Church, 1252 W. Axton Road, Ferndale, WA 98248.
