Stanley Stroyls Obituary
Stanley Stroyls, age 87, passed away peacefully in the early hours of January 27, 2026. Stanley was born on July 10, 1938, in Beech Bottom, West Virginia-a fact he always enjoyed pointing out.
Later in life, after moving to a retirement community called On Top of the World, he loved to laugh and say he had truly gone from Beech Bottom to living On Top of the World. He served proudly in the United States Coast Guard for four years, an experience he carried with quiet pride throughout his life.
Stanley is survived by his two daughters, Diana Stroyls and Helena "Bo" Stroyls, his sister Carolyn Mikuta, and cousin Tom Stroyls, all who will remember him for his good humor, his tough, warrior nature, and his ability to find joy in life's journey.
A service to honor Stanley's life will be held on February 7, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. and the service at 2:00 p.m., at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala, Florida 34481.
