Stanley Lee Turner age 77, of Millersville, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at his home.
He was born September 1, 1947 in Cape Girardeau, the son of Homer and Frances Holloway Turner Jr.
Stanley married Brenda Meggs December 31, 1978 in Cape Girardeau.
He was a graduate of Cape Central High School. Stanley entered the US Army in 1968 and was honorably discharged in 1969. He worked as a fireman for the City of Cape Girardeau Fire Department retiring in 2003. Stanley was a member of the Cape VFW Post 3838. He enjoyed hunting, fishing qne in his later years enjoyed collecting artifacts.
In addition to his wife, Brenda of 46 years, he is survived by two sons, Stan (Heather) Turner and Michael turner; grandchildren Amber Turner, Emily Turner, Calleigh Turner, Maverick Turner and Lynn Turner; grandchildren, Ty, Riley, Avery, Lilly Grace, Brycen, and Zane; and two sisters-in-law, Pat and Gigi.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dennis and Steve Turner.
The family will have a private celebration of life service.
