Steacy Lee Simons

Steacy Lee Simons, 49, of Macon, MO, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026.

Steacy was born on March 10, 1976, in Fort Campbell, KY, the daughter of Robert Spicer and Evelyn Currier. She was united in marriage to Jason Simons on February 6, 2009, in Macon.

Steacy worked in nursing at Macon Healthcare Center for many years and spent most of her time caring for others. She left a lasting impact on her patients and colleagues. Steacy found so much joy spending time with her grandchildren and being their MayMay was her favorite title.

Steacy is survived by her husband, Jason of the home; three children, Hope Simons, Christopher Fraley, and Brock Simons; four grandchildren, Verity Fraley, Hudson Little, Delaney Little, and Maddox Havice; her father, Robert Spicer; mother, Evelyn Spicer. She is also survived by her sister, Kimberly; one brother, Robert Spicer, Jr.; and other extended family members and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Nicole Ann Spicer Wilson; two grandfathers; paternal grandmother, Evelyn R. Spicer; maternal grandmother, Martha Sheese;

and stepfather, Curtis Teal.

Funeral service will be 7:00 pm, Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO. Visitation will be 5:00 pm, until the time of the service, at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the family for expenses.
