Stella Ester Abbott age 56, of Joshua, passed away on her birthday surrounded by her loving family.
Stella's life was a garden blooming with love and adventure. Her passions range from hiking to dancing, each step she took leaving behind joy and laughter. She found peace in gardening and rock hunting, and her culinary delights are a testament to her love. Above all, she cherished her family, her love for her children and grandchildren as boundless as the skies that she hiked under.
Stella was proceeded in death by her Father John Lira Sr. and her brother, Phillip Lira. Their memories continue to shine brightly in the legacy she leaves behind.
She leaves behind four children; Jonathan, Amber, Jessica, Daniel and her mother Marie Lira with her siblings; John Jr., Mary, Steve, Albert, Jessie, Cecelia, Antonio, Cynthia; along with a legacy of cherished grandchildren. Her memories will live on in everyone's hearts, forever.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian. Burial will be in the Morgan Cemetery in Morgan, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 26, 2025 also at Lawson Funeral Home.
