Stella Burda Obituary
Born in Pawtucket, RI she was a daughter of the late Ignac and Mary (Szydlo) Skrzymiarz. Stella lived in Cumberland, RI for most of her life.
Before retiring Stella was employed by Stop & Shop Supermarket chain as a Bagger for many years.
Mrs. Burda was a devout Catholic, devoted mother and a loving grandmother. She enjoyed Polish Picnics, Polish Music and Polish Dances.
She is survived by two loving sons Edward J. Burda Sr. and Joseph F. Burda both of Pawtucket, RI, two devoted grandchildren, Edward Burda Jr. and Elizabeth Martin, two cherished great grandchildren, Sarah and Victor Martin, two sisters Sophie Herchel and her husband Zygmunt of Cumberland, RI and Dolores Plouffe and her husband Robert of North Scituate, RI, nieces and nephews. Stella was the sister of the late Joseph, Edward and John Skrzymiarz
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Aidan Church 1460 Diamond Hill Road Cumberland, RI Thursday March 4, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Curran Road, Cumberland, RI.
