Stella Bryant Kerlin Stella Bryant Kerlin, age 88, of Manassas, passed away December 7th, 2011 at her home after a short illness. Born June 5th, 1923 in Shipman, Va., she was the daughter of Howson and Alice Woodyard Bryant. Mrs. Kerlin worked as a teller at the Piedmont Federal Savings and Loan Bank for over 32 years, and has lived in Manassas for over 80 years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church for over 50 years and a proud member of the Wimodausis Chapter No. 106, Order of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by one sister, Alice June Vernon. Survivors include two sons, Warren Kerlin, Jr. and his wife Virginia of Mocksville, N.C.; Jay Kerlin of Woodbridge; one brother, Sydney E. Bryant and his wife Joyce of Casanova, Va.; and four grandchildren, William Kerlin, Robert Kerlin, John Kerlin and Molly Anthony. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 11th, 2011 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 12th, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with The Rev. Rudy Tucker, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, Va. Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to the charity of your choice.
