Stella Sandra Lopez

Stella Sandra Lopez went home to be with the Lord on December 30, 2022, surrounded by her children. She was born on March 26, 1959 in Oxnard, CA.

Stella graduated from Channel Islands High School, Class of 1977. She loved playing softball in high school, and her passion for the sport would carry on through her adult life. At a young age, Stella entered the workforce and would learn various trades and skills, where she built a strong work ethic. She and her husband Ray raised their children in the city of Ventura. She showed her children to be strong, resilient, and to never give up. Although she adored her children, when she became a grandma, it brought her a new joy and a new purpose.

Stella was known for her strong personality, sarcastic sense of humor, and her utmost honesty. More than anything she loved riding on her Harley, especially with her “805 girls.” She enjoyed her special rides to Sturgis, Hollister, Rosarito, and the annual River Run to Laughlin to name just a few. Stella loved a good game of poker with her family, bingo nights, and her “scratchers.”

Stella is survived by her children Steven Ray Lopez (Sonja) and Paula Rae Lopez (Sergio Estrada). Stepchildren Raymond Lopez (Linda) and Natalie Jaramillo (Michael). Her mother, Irene Reyes; siblings Corinne Lopez, Diane Avila (Ronald), Libby Tellez (Vince), Donald Reyes (Maria); grandchildren, Sienna, Steven Ray Jr. Sierra, Vinny, Jackson, Aaron, Celine, Tyler, and Raylie; many nieces and nephews. Also her fur babies “Cha Cha” and “Lulu.” Stella is preceded by her husband Ray and her father, Andy Reyes; brothers Benji and Sam Reyes Sr. and nephew Sammy Reyes, who she raised as her own son. We cherish every moment and all the sacrifices you have made for us all. We love you mom.

Celebration of Life service will be held at noon at the Perez Family Funeral Home 1347 Del Norte Rd. Camarillo, CA 93010. We would like to honor Stella with a farewell ride to follow.
