Stella Louise Moser

Stella Louise Moser left her earthly body and obtained a new heavenly body on May 20, 2025, at the age of 82. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the Church of the Nazarene. Private family burial will follow, with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Stella was born on June 2, 1942, to Willie and Mossie Iona Sissons in Meeker, Oklahoma. She, along with her family, lived on a farm Northwest of Meeker. She completed her school years first at Valley View Elementary and later graduated from Meeker High School in 1960. After High School Graduation, she worked in Oklahoma City at the McBride Bone and Joint Hospital. She later moved to Woodward, Oklahoma to join family members.
She then joined Crown Heights Baptist Church in 1967. In Woodward, she found work at Trego's Western Wear, where she found the love of her life, Thad Moser. She and Thad were married on June 2, 1967, in Woodward, Oklahoma. She and Thad built a home in Woodward. After marrying, she joined Thad in attending the Nazarene Church in Woodward. She continued her career at Whitcomb Lumber Company where they treated her as one of their own. She then found her work home at Woodward Ace Home Center. She finished her working career in 2024 after many years. She loved working at Ace and loved getting to know the customers. She enjoyed seeing other Ace Hardware stores and comparing them to her own store, because she was so proud when visiting family members.
She was an active member of her church and enjoyed the many friends she made there. She looked forward to movie nights, as she called them, where she went to another member's home, and enjoyed the evening eating snacks along with fellowship. Her relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ the most important in her life. She never missed the opportunity to share her love of Christ. She cherished her family and friends, always having them in her heart and mind.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thad, her parents, brothers Donald, Leonard, her sister Marie Sissons and infants Willie Jr, John Dee, and Nettie Mae. Sisters-in-law, Carol Sissons, Martha Sissons, LeeAnn and Fran, brothers-in- law, Jim Branham, and Marion Wanzer.
She is survived by her Son, Mike (Andrea) of Nashville, Tennessee, Daughter, Dawn Guthrie, Grandson Brandon (Jayme) of Woodward, Oklahoma, Granddaughter Brittany (Jeremy) Moxley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Four great Grandchildren, Calvin Moser, Jayden Bennett, Elliana Mae, Carter Alexander. She is survived by brothers James of Coyle, Oklahoma, and Franklin (Kathy) of Duncan, Oklahoma, sisters Loretta Wanzer of Fairview, Oklahoma and Edith (Lee) Huckaby, of Buffalo, Oklahoma. Special family members Patty Moser and Jessica McGuire Jackson.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the many friends at the Nazarene church of Woodward, Woodland Estates Senior Community, Woodward Senior Center and all of the calls, text, messages and prayers that have been received.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Woodward Church of the Nazarene with the funeral accepting the contributions.
