Stella D. Pheilshifter

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the age of 87. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Adelaide D’Ettorre, and her brothers, Andy, Tony, Cosmo, Louie, and John.

Stella is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 37 years, Rick; her children, Michelle (Jim) Hange, Mark (Mary Ann) Snyder, Chris Pheilshifter, and Carrie (Koby) Rickertsen; her cherished grandchildren, Brittany (Joe), Matt, Sean (Hannah), Ryan (Kaylee), and Bailey; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Skylar, Melanie, and Caden. She is also survived by her brother Frank (Elaine) D’Ettorre; her sisters-in-law, Irene D’Ettore and Mary Pheilshifter, as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Stella was a sweet and kind woman who found joy in life’s simple pleasures—especially trips to the casino, where she always seemed to win. She was a devoted Buffalo Bills fan and loved traveling, visiting much of the United States, Europe, and destinations around the world. Although she enjoyed traveling, she especially treasured hosting her annual Christmas parties, which were truly unforgettable. Her warm spirit, gentle nature, and loving presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services, 777 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14612. Funeral mass 10:30am Friday December 19th at Our Mother of Sorrows Church.
