Stella Annette Williams, 65, of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away on January 26, 2026, at a hospice house.
Annette was born on August 30, 1960, in Charleston, South Carolina, to Harold D’Arcy and Faye Barrineau Fryar. She was educated at James Island High School then attended cosmetology school.
Annette spent her life devoted to the people she loved most. Annette loved her family and friends unconditionally and treasured spending time with them. She found joy in dancing, bowling, fishing, gardening, and cooking, and she shared her warmth and laughter freely with those around her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Faye Fryar, and brother Bruce (Rusty) D’Arcy.
She is survived by her sisters, Althea Forde,(Allan) two half-sisters, Christine Bertsch, (Lee), and Angela Paulina D’arcy, Her life partner, Sara Causey, Anna Causey Sara’s mom, Sisters Tammy Broome (Brian) Theresa Wood (Eric), Three nephews, Tony Sharbo, Thomas D’Arcy, and Bruce (B.J.) D’Arcy; and all of her loving friends.
At Annette’s request, there will be no visitation or formal services at this time.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
