The world lost a bright light with the passing of Stephanie Kay Behne on October 30, 2025. While the loss is immeasurable, we find comfort in the beautiful life she lived and the endless love she shared.
Being a wife, mother, sister, aunt, auntie, grandma, GG, cousin and dear lifelong friend was her most cherished and rewarding heartfelt pleasures in life.
Stevie spent most of her years in the Lakewood and Bellflower area where she dedicated her life to her family. She loved going to her daughter, niece, nephew and grandchildren’s sports games as she was the #1 fan and supporter sitting in the stands. We could always hear her cheering us on. She enjoyed watching the Laker’s games she never missed one of Kobe’s games.
Her biggest hobby and enjoyment were being with her husband Gary of 37 years competing in car shows with their bug and ford. Trips to Laughlin where she loved playing slot machines. Those times together with her husband Gary gave her so much joy and happiness.
Stevie is survived by her husband Gary, sister Maggie, daughters Crystal and Renee. Grandchildren Adrianna, Anthony and Alyssa. Great grandchildren Xander, Ashley and Aubree. Nieces and nephews and her dear lifelong friends.
She was proceeded in death by her grandmothers Madge and Antoinette, father Adrian, mother Katherine, brother Randy, niece Melissa, nephew Dennis, step son Michael and grandson Nicholas.
We still feel your love as it guides us every day. Thank you for your strength, wisdom, and love. We are so thankful for every sacrifice you have made for all of us. You were and will continue to be the heart and soul of our family and you will be deeply missed.
