Stephanie Brakebill Obituary
After her courageous battle against cancer, she ran into the arms of Jesus on Monday, January 5th at 6:40 pm. She was 68 years old.
Stephanie was the beloved mother to her two sons, Shane and Chris, and proud Nana to her five grandchildren, Hunter, Jayden, Blake, Aubree and Lincoln.
She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond Tripp & Joyce (Morgan) Tripp, sister Sharon Ellison, son Chris Brakebill, grandson Hunter Perego and aunt Loyce (Morgan) Mathews.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son Shane (Ashley) Brakebill and their children Aubree and Lincoln, Chris's sons Jayden and Blake, sisters Sandra Grady, Sylvia (Gerald) Janes. She's also loved and missed by countless nieces and nephews, extended family and friends and especially her angel on earth, her niece Deanna.
Stephanie was born and raised in Oklahoma City and was the youngest of four sisters – the four S's. When she was born, her daddy said that they were going to spoil this one, and her sisters would probably agree that they did just that!
She was a devoted mother, tireless worker, and woman of remarkable strength. She loved her sons dearly, proudly raising them on her own, giving them a life filled with determination, love and hope for the future. She continued this love as she raised her dear grandson Blake.
Her greatest joy in life was making sweet and lasting memories while spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Some of her favorite travel memories were of times spent in Washington, her sister's weekend getaways, her trips to see Texas family and any chance to go on a cruise.
She will be remembered for her unwavering faith in Jesus, unconditional love she gave so freely, selflessness, huge heart and ability to make new friends everywhere she went…she was a master at the fine art of conversation!
Her absence will be felt by many!
Family will be present at the visitation from 5:00pm-8:00pm
