Austintown - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephanie Cafaro, who left us on December 22, 2024, at the age of 51.
Stephanie was born on February 17, 1973, in Youngstown, to the late John A. and Beverly Babik Cafaro.
A proud graduate of Austintown Fitch High School in 1991, Stephanie continued her educational journey at Youngstown State University. She found her true calling, after working in various fields, with NEO Urology, where her dedication and compassion made a lasting impact on her colleagues and the patients she served.
Stephanie was an avid reader with a deep love for literature, and she enjoyed collecting Snow Babies that adorned her home. A devoted fan of Bruce Springsteen, she shared her passion for music with those she loved, often bringing joy and laughter to gatherings. Above all, Stephanie cherished her time spent with her brother, Michael, and her sister-in-law Ericka, creating lasting memories during their beloved Sunday dinners.
Stephanie is survived by her beloved brother, Dr. Michael (Ericka) Cafaro of Austintown; and many cousins and friends.
Family and friends will pay their respects during the calling hours at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, on December 26, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and again on December 27, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. A funeral service will follow on December 27, at 1:30 PM, honoring Stephanie's life and the light she brought to all who knew her.
