Stephanie Ann Camp

Stephanie Ann Moves Camp was born on May 17, 1969 in Phillip, SD to Patrick Woodrow Rockwood, Sr. and JoAnn Marie (Hawkins) Rockwood. Stephanie made her journey to the Spirit World on February 19, 2026 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Stephanie is survived by her children, Sunka Wakan Bleheceya (Stephanie May) Moves Camp, Ellen (Daniel Sprayberry) Moves Camp; Patrice (Vern Standing Soldier) Moves Camp, Wiyaka Wi Hoksila Moves Camp, Winnie (Brenden Bettelyoun) Moves Camp, and Wakan Hotani (Shaila Stately) Moves Camp; daughter-in-law, Briana Cottier-Moves Camp; grandchildren, Eyankaga Moves Camp, Kaydence Moves Camp, Lola Bettelyoun, Leah Bettelyoun, Amartssa Bettelyoun, Errica Bettelyoun, Kamera Bettelyoun, Carter Olson, Leanna Moves Camp-Bettelyoun, Jo'zelle Moves Camp, Zoelle Moves Camp, Mienna Moves Camp, Kianno Moves Camp, Kyra Moves Camp, Khalis Moves Camp, and Kyden Moves Camp; step-grandchildren, Kyle May, Amya Ferguson, Danica Ferguson, and Reaunna Janis; mother, Joanne Hawkins-Rockwood; brothers, Patrick Rockwood, Jr., Todd (Kristen) Rockwood, Steven Rockwood, and Barry (Stacie) Rockwood; sisters, Nanette (Chris Shocker) Rockwood-Shocker and Candance (Chuck Eberhardt) Rockwood-Eberhardt; and many beloved nieces & nephews.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her father, Patrick Rockwood; spouse, Michael Moves Camp; and sons, Tonga Moves Camp and Wakan Mani Moves Camp.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Sprayberry, Dwight Thunder Shield, Akisa Milk, Ian Rockwood, Tristan Rockwood, and Charlie Eberhardt.

Honorary pallbearers will be Melda Hawkins, Wesley Hawkins, Mavin Meat, Jim Strutz, Bradley Bush, Blue Legs Family, Moves Camp Family, Mesteth Family, Yellow Elk Family, Dull Knife Family, White Bull Family, Monument ICU Staff, Buche's Gus Stop, Crazy Horse School and All Family & Relatives.

Wake Services: Two night wake service starting at 4:00 PM, Friday, March 6, 2026 at the TNT Center in Wanblee, SD with evening services starting each night at 7:00 PM.

Funeral Services: 11:00 AM, Sunday, March 8, 2026 at the TNT Center in Wanblee, SD

Traditional Lakota Services: Richard Moves Camp

Burial Services: Cremation to follow services with burial to be held at a later date
