Stephanie Curry Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by S E Thomas Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. on Nov. 17, 2025.
On Friday, November 14, 2025, Stephanie Elaine Curry transitioned from earthly life to life eternal at her home.
Stephanie was born on August 25, 1969, in High Point, North Carolina, to Patricia "Ann" Curry Good. To family and friends, she was lovingly known as Step.
Raised on the East End of Thomasville, Step attended Thomasville Senior High School. She dedicated more than 30 years to the food service industry, where her warm spirit and genuine kindness touched countless lives. Step had a natural way of brightening the day of anyone she encountered. She was truly a light to all whose paths she crossed. Family and friends will forever cherish her welcoming personality, sense of humor, and vibrant smile. Step enjoyed spending time with friend and family, traveling, relaxing in the yard with her favorite music, and celebrating life-especially her birthday. To everyone who knew her, Step was undoubtedly "the life of the party."
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Lucille Curry, Archie Curry, and Lucretia Coleman; and two aunts, Diane "T-Tone" Williams and Essie Curry.
Step leaves behind a profound legacy of love. Cherishing her memory are her mother, Patricia Curry Good (Ann); her husband, Edward Pierce; her six children; Brittany Curry, Precious Curry, Brandon Curry, Jeremy Alford, Jaynia Curry, and Justin Curry; and her eight grandchildren; Illena Curry, Braylen Curry, Jayden Curry, Brandon Curry Jr., Brooklyn Curry, Noelle Curry, Ador'abella Alford, and Journey Alford. She is also survived by three brothers, Tyrone Davis, Harold Canty, and Darryl Canty and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends who will forever remember her radiant spirit.
Step's love, laughter, and light will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
