It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Stephanie Bernice "Sissy" Davis, who left us at the age of 70 on Friday, May 9, 2025. Born on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1955, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Sissy was a beautiful person inside and out from the moment she came into this world. She grew up in Philadelphia and eventually relocated to Vineland, New Jersey, where she graduated from Vineland High School. Sissy later attended Pennco Tech for cosmetology.
An amazing mother, Sissy shared her loving personality with everyone she encountered. A devoted "mom-mom" to all her grandchildren, she will be deeply missed. Sissy had a passion for music, cooking, and watching television.
She was employed at Comar Glass in Vineland, NJ, and also worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland.
Sissy is predeceased by her parents, Thomas Ambrose Davis and Evelyn Mae Davis, as well as her brothers Arnold "Jacky" Fields, Ronald "Ronnie" Davis of Vineland, NJ, and William "Peanut" Davis of Philadelphia, PA. Her sisters include Mary Shelton of Woodbine, NJ, and Celestine "Suzy" Barker of Philadelphia, PA.
Sissy is survived by her children, Lashawn Harris (William Harris), Trina Davis (Brian Drummond) of Vineland, NJ, a son Raymond Davis (Samantha Feliciano) of Williamstown, NJ, and her Godson Darrel Carter of Texas. She is also survived by her brother Wayne Davis (Gayle Davis), sisters Brenda Scott (Richard Scott), Laura Reaves, Cynthia Reaves (CL Reaves), Patricia Davis, and Barbara Brown (Gary Brown), along with 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren also a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
