Stephanie Ann Drake, 75, of Titusville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie, Pennsylvania.
She was born on May 12, 1950, in Titusville to the late Stanley and Mary Ann (Barnhart) Popieski. A 1968 graduate of Titusville High School, Stephanie continued her education at Clarion University and the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville.
Stephanie devoted more than 35 years of her career to serving the Pleasantville Borough, where she was known for her dedication and lasting contributions to the community.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Neil Fratus and his wife Arlene of Titusville, and Amy Baron of Erie. Stephanie was a proud and loving grandmother to Brittany Patterson, Jesse Patterson, Hunter Birtciel, Briana Baron, Hudson Fratus, Holland Fratus, Griffin Fratus, and Mateo Fratus, and a great-grandmother to Jesse Patterson Jr. and Ezra Eggelston. Her brother, Steven Popieski, and his wife Patti of Monroe, North Carolina, along with their children, Diane and David Popieski, also survive her. She will be fondly remembered by her dear friends, Robert and Barb Fratus.
Stephanie's kind heart, devotion to family, and love for books and the library will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Donations in her memory may be made to Benson Memorial Library, 213 N. Franklin Street, Titusville, PA 16354.
