Stephanie "Steffy" Ferguson, age 59, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on November 4, 2025, in her hometown after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born and raised in Jacksonville, Steffy spent her life surrounded by the people and community she loved most. She believed that friends could become family and devoted her life to nurturing those bonds, creating a circle of love and laughter that will be cherished forever.
Steffy was known for her fabulous spirit and her unshakable sense of self - she knew what she wanted and was never afraid to speak her mind. Her confidence, humor, and kindness made her a presence you could never forget. She was full of life, full of love, and truly full of awesomeness.
In her free time, Steffy loved playing darts and pool, attending concerts and festivals, and sharing good times with the people who meant the most to her. Her joy for life was contagious, and she brought warmth and laughter wherever she went.
Her greatest pride and joy was her beloved son, Winston Ferguson. To Steffy, he was her life's greatest accomplishment and the center of her heart. She is also survived by her cherished daughter-in-law, Jeni (Hall) Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Brown, and her brother, Scott Ferguson.
A celebration of Steffy's life will be held on January 3rd at 2:00 p.m., with the location to be announced.
Although it's difficult today to see through the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.
