Stephanie Hilyer Grant, 33, passed away peacefully at her residence on June 24, 2025.

Steph, affectionately known as Pie, was born in San Diego, CA, on July 6, 1991, to her mother, Elizabeth Hilyer. She was raised by many and loved by all. Steph had many accomplishments in life, including earning her cosmetology, esthetician, and real estate licenses. However, her greatest accomplishment was being the proud mother of her three children-Ava, Elijah, and Josephine-whom she treasured immensely. Her personal hero was her Granddaddy, Joseph Hilyer Sr.

Stephanie loved cooking, listening to her favorite music, and spending time with her family. Her red velvet cake will always remain a family favorite. Steph will be remembered for her unwavering compassion and the warmth of her humor, which brought joy and connection to everyone she encountered.

She is lovingly survived by her mother, Elizabeth Hilyer; her grandmother, Irene Hilyer; her brother, Grant Hilyer, and her sister-in-law, Ashanti Randle; her daughters, Ava Hilyer-Elayyan and Josephine Grant; her son, Elijah Grant; her niece, Ayanna Mae; her nephew, Ezekiel Lovell; her uncles, Joe Hilyer Jr. and Sam Hilyer; her cousins, Leilani Mathisen, Kyle Ellis-Hilyer, Baylie Hilyer, Samantha Hilyer, Joseph Hilyer III, Garrett Hilyer, Logan Hilyer, Ian Mathisen, Jenna Dolan, and Naomi Mathisen, along with many other beloved family members and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at McCune Garden Chapel in Vacaville, California.

Thank you to all who had the privilege of knowing Stephanie; to know her was to love her.

"Make me weep and you can make me cry,

See me coming and you can pass me by,

But honey, nothing, nothing

Can ever change this love I have for you."
