Stephanie J. LeBlanc, 51, resident of Milford, NH, died after a short period of declining health on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Mass General Hospital, Boston. She was born on September 21, 1973, in Beverley, MA, and she was the daughter of Stephen Sawyer of Boxford, MA and Carolyn Sawyer (Hunt) of Manchester, NH.
Stephanie was raised and educated in Boxford, MA where she attended elementary school and graduated with honors from Masconomet Regional High School in 1991. During her childhood and teenage years, Stephanie found joy in her second home at First Church Congregational in Boxford, where her Mom was Music Director. She attended the Village School Nursery and was active in the Youth Group there and made many lifelong friends. She and her parents and brother enjoyed many happy memories as a family on skiing trips and family gatherings visiting with their cousins and grandparents.
A talented gymnast throughout her childhood and teen years, she gave up her leotard for track shoes and enjoyed two years of track and cross-country with her highschool friends. She carried her talents and educational goals on to Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY, where she participated in cross-country and track until she graduated with honors with a BS in Environmental Science.
Stephanie and her now deceased husband Brendan LeBlanc, raised their children Annie and Sam in the greater Amherst, NH area where the family had wonderful experiences within the community and schools along with many family vacations and celebrations over the years. She was her children’s biggest fan and would cheer them on at their activities and sports. In addition to raising her children she established a career in Real Estate.
Stephanie's life was filled with love and joy for the simple things in life. In recent years she enjoyed traveling, fishing and spending time with friends and family. She also found new love with Colin Pratt. Anyone who was blessed to know her felt her light and unconditional love.
In addition to her parents, survivors include: her husband, Colin Pratt of Milford, NH; her two children, Anabel and Samuel LeBlanc of Milford, NH; her mother Carolyn Sawyer and father Stephen Sawyer; her brother and sister-in-law, Garrett and Lori Sawyer of MA; nieces Faith and Rachel Sawyer of MA; relatives including many cousins and aunts and uncles; and her precious dogs Frankie and Gert. Stephanie is predeceased by her husband Brendan LeBlanc, cousins Bruce Stromwall, Gretchen Clark and Hilary Swaffield; Aunt Sally Stromwall and Uncle Kirby Clark and both maternal and fraternal grandparents.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Following the wake, a celebration of her life will be held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Brick House Restaurant Event room, 241 Union Square, Milford, NH, 03055.
