Stephanie Shumans Obituary
Stephanie Marie Shumans passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025 under the compassionate care of Abercorn Rehabilitation
Center, Savannah, Georgia. Born July 13, 1966 in Savannah, Georgia, she was the youngest of
four children and the only girl. She was raised in Port Wentworth and graduated from
Tompkins High School in 1984.
Stephanie is predeceased by her mother, Estelle Pritchard Shumans Covenah; her father, John
Hubert Shumans; her step-father, Gleamon Royston Covenah; and brother, John Paul Shumans.
She is survived by her brothers; James N. Shumans (Debbie); Edward T. Shumans (Nancy); step-
sister, Glenda Morris (Ken); Nephews; Brian Shumans (Wendy), Keith Shumans, and Christopher
Shumans (Leah); niece, Erin Shumans; and precious aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Arrangements by Families First Funeral Care and Cremation Center.
Service: Bull Street Baptist Church, 1400 Bull Street, Savannah, GA. Saturday, November 1 st at
11:00 a.m. with visitation at 10:30 a.m. preceding the service.
