Stephanie Silvernagel Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Premier Funeral Services - Roy on Sep. 28, 2025.
Stephanie Renae Silvernagel August 17, 1982 – September 17, 2025 Stephanie Renae Silvernagel was born on August 17, 1982, in Layton, Utah. Stephanie attended grade school in Sunset, UT and Layton, UT. Stephanie was known for her quick wit and playful spirit, often filling her days with laughter and harmless pranks. She shared a special bond with her sisters, Jennifer and April, whom she loved dearly and teased endlessly. Stephanie participated in gymnastics, dance, the violin, and a member of the Air Force ROTC. At just 16, she met the love of her life, John White-the "boy next door," new to Utah-who would become her lifelong partner. She graduated from Mountain High School in 2000. In 2009, they married and bought a home together in Clinton, Utah, where Stephanie would spend the rest of her life. From an early age, Stephanie had a deep love for animals. She was always caring for pets and wildlife, which led her to pursue veterinary medicine. At just 18, she moved to Aurora, Colorado, where she attended Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology. While balancing work, school, and living on her own, she earned her Associate Degree as a Veterinary Technician. Over the next 20+ years, Stephanie built a career she adored. After starting in day practice, she found her true calling in emergency veterinary care. She was proud to serve alongside some of the finest veterinarians and associates in the field, forming lifelong friendships and offering unwavering compassion to both animals and their families. If anyone ever ate a meal that Stephanie prepared, it was a work of art. She LOVED to cook. It was more than just putting a meal together, she put a masterpiece together. If there was a potluck meal at work, it was everyone's vote for her to bring her smoked ham or turkey. Even as her health declined, Stephanie's dedication to her profession and her friends never wavered. She continued working for as long as her body would allow. Stephanie passed away on September 17, 2025, at her home in Clinton, Utah, surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her devoted husband, John White of Clinton, UT; her mother, Trish Enderton (John), Clinton, UT; her father, Wayne Silvernagel (Debbie) of Roseville, CA; her sisters, Jennifer Roberts of Vernal, UT, and April Silvernagel of Layton, UT; her grandmother Bernice Weber, Spearfish, SD, many nieces and nephews; and one great-niece, many aunts/uncles/cousins, her cherished fur-babies, Missy and Nora. In memory of Stephanie, consider adopting a fur-baby to help with overcrowded animal shelters-the love returned is so worth it. Services to be held at the Premier Funeral Roy Mortuary on September 28th, 2025 at 2:00 pm. Dear Stephanie, I will always have the best memories of our times together, at work and at play. You always had the best stories, and delivered them so humorously. I loved working with you,and always admired the love you had for your husband and friends. My heart is broke at your passing and I will always cherish you in my memories as long as I live. God bless you. Love you girl.
