Stephanie P Sturtevant

Stephanie Place Sturtevant, 38, of Marstons Mills, formerly of Brewster, went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday December 28, 2025 after her body succumbed to the effects of a malignant brain tumor and declining health.

Stephanie was born at Cape Cod Hospital and grew up in Marstons Mills, MA. She attended Marstons Mills Community Church and Osterville Baptist Church, where she learned of the love and forgiveness of God through the Lord Jesus Christ. She graduated from Barnstable High School and Cape Cod Community College.

Early on, Stephanie loved to bake, and she pursued a career in the restaurant industry baking at Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis, MA .and Del Mar in Chatham, MA.

She resided in Brewster with her then husband Kevin and worked as office manager and service advisor at Neighborhood Automotive in Wellfleet, MA. Most recently she resided with her parents in Marstons Mills.

She loved the people in her life, her pets, baking, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.

Stephanie is survived by her parents, Steve and Carole Place, her sister Meredith Flores, (Emmanuel), of Edmond, OK, her aunt Elaine Marascio and uncle Ron Pfeiffer of Bucks County, PA., and her aunt Cindy Place of Arizona, as well as many cousins. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her and loved her.

The family would like to thank the staff at Cape Heritage Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Sandwich and Hospice of Massachusetts for the excellent care and love they showed Stephanie.

Friends and family are invited to greet Stephanie's family on Saturday January 10, 2026 from 1PM – 2:30 PM at the Chapman Funeral & Cremations, John-Lawrence Chapel, 3778 Falmouth Road, Marstons Mills, MA. A service will follow at 2:30 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
