Winford Sturtevant Obituary
On December 4th, 2025, Winford "Jack" Sturtevant of Dunellon Florida passed away peacefully at the age of 95 in Ocala Florida.
Born February 17th, 1930 to Harold and Winifred Sturtevant in Big Rapids Michigan, Jack was a star basketball athlete in high school and moved on to attend Ferris College to get a degree in business. After college Jack was drafted by the United States Army where he served in the Korean War. After his time in the army, his business degree lead to a very successful career as an executive in sales for the Yellow Pages and went on to marry the love of his life, Pauline Sturtevant on June 29th, 1962. Jack loved to spend time with friends and family and of course, loved his time on the golf course.
Proceeded in death by his mother, father, sister, and wife Pauline. Left to cherish his memories are his 2 sons, Bradford and Scott Sturtevant, and 2 grandsons Kris and Ryon Sturtevant and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation will take place where Jack will rejoin the love of his life, Pauline Sturtevant and a burial/celebration of life will take place in Newberry Michigan in the spring of 2026.
