Stephanie Thompson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Inc. on Feb. 14, 2026.
Stephanie was born on May 18, 1960, on the island of Trinidad and Tobago. Stephanie passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of quiet strength, gentle kindness, and unwavering compassion.

Stephanie was strong-but not in the loud or boastful way. Her strength was steady, calm, and deeply rooted in love. She carried herself with grace and met life's challenges with dignity. Those who knew her understood that her power was in her presence-comforting, reassuring, and sincere.

As a devoted caregiver, Stephanie treated every individual and every family she served with profound respect. She believed in preserving dignity, offering comfort, and loving people exactly where they were.

Her work was not simply a profession-it was her calling. Families trusted her not only for her skill, but for her heart. She gave of herself fully, often quietly, and always with compassion.

Stephanie was kind, caring, and conscientious in all she did. She paid attention to the small details that mattered. She listened closely. She showed up consistently. She loved deeply.

Her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but her legacy of gentleness and devotion will live on in the many lives she touched. She will be remembered for her warm heart, her steady spirit, and the dignity with which she lived and served others.

She leaves behind her loving mother, Norva Millet. She was predeceased by her father, Roy Bailey, and her sister, Deborah Bailey and her brother Kenneth Bailey. She is survived by her sister, Carol Blake; her brothers, Mervyn Bailey and Patrick Bailey; her dear friend, Esther Jeffrey;

16 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She also leaves to cherish her memory the extended families of the Baileys, Jobs, Mitchells, and Millets.

She will truly be missed, always remembered, and forever cherished.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 10-11 a.m. with a funeral home service immediately following.
