Stephen Antell Obituary

Stephen was born in Brooklyn, NY, on November 22, 1940 to Henry and Dora Antell, both of whom predeceased him. He was also predeceased by his only sibling, Dr. Richard Antell.
Those who remember Stephen immediately remark on his quick wit and high intellect. A linguistics major and speaker of multiple languages, Steve was a member of MENSA and an avid reader of science fiction. Steve could never resist a good debate, as long as he won. Stephen was endearingly eccentric; the many mentions of his laugh, his pipe, his beard, his uniquely boring style of dress, and of course, his bag have made those closest to him smile.
Stephen donated his remains to Weill Cornell Medical Center for research purposes.
In lieu of flowers, it would mean most to the family if those who wish to do something in Steve's honor do a good deed and/or donate to a charity of their choice in his name.
Stephen is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Barbara Schwartz, loving children Rachel (Nick) Damiani, Michael Henry Antell, Thomas David (Maria) Antell, and adoring grandchildren Cailyn Emilia and Matthew Logan.
