Stephen Edward Boling, 77, of Moore, passed away on March 14, 2025. Raised in the Fairmont Community, Steve was the son of the late Archie Boling, Mildred Wood Boling Cooley and step-father Barney S Cooley. The husband of June Fincher Boling, they were married for 57 years with their anniversary on March 16. Steve was an active member of Impact Community Church where he served on the set up team, a deacon and a friend to the entire congregation. He enjoyed the Good News Club at Reidville School and Carpenter's Table. Steve retired from Williams Gas Pipelines where he did maintenance and pipeline construction. He served in the National Guard and his hobbies were piddling in his shop, fishing, and hunting. Steve never met a stranger and he enjoyed his family and helping others by being the first one to step up when help is needed.
Survivors include his son, Andrew "Andy" Boling; 2 grandchildren, Callie Mincer and husband Dustin, and Pruitt Boling; and a great granddaughter, Katherine Boling.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:45 Pm Monday, March 17, 2025, at Stribling Funeral Home.
Services will follow at 4:00 pm in the Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dave Carroll officiating.
The family would like to thank his care team with Family Hospice, especially his nurse Aaliya, Mrs. T, and his friends Terry, Gwen, and Daniel for helping. Also a thank you to those that came to talk and bring food over the last few weeks. God bless you all.
