Stephen Britsch Obituary

Visit the Tribute Funeral Home - Greenville website to view the full obituary.

Stephen Eugene Britsch, age 65, of New Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

He was born on March 30, 1960, in Toledo to the late Gerald and Pauline (Baty) Britsch.

Stephen is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 42 years, Lois (Wagner) Britsch, whom he married on August 27, 1983. He leaves behind his cherished daughters, Sarah Britsch and Rachel Britsch, both of Trotwood, OH; his brother, Rod (Kristine) Britsch of Acworth, GA; his nephew, Kyle (Samantha) Britsch of Dallas, GA; and his niece, Erica Britsch of Dallas, GA. He also leaves many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

Stephen graduated from The University of Toledo with his bachelor's degree. He went on to work at Avery Dennison where he spent most of his career and currently worked at University Hospital in Cleveland as a dedicated programmer and systems analyst. He was respected for his strong work ethic and commitment.

Faith in God was the cornerstone of Stephen's life. He faithfully attended and served at New Lebanon Assembly of God, always willing to lend a helping hand wherever and whenever he was needed. He had a servant's heart and found joy in supporting his church family in any way he could.

Stephen was known for his kindness, warmth, and the way he treated everyone like family. He was an avid fan of Ohio State Buckeyes football and rarely missed a chance to cheer on his beloved Buckeyes with his daughter Sarah. Stephen also treasured the time he spent playing video games with his daughter Rachel. Whether it was friendly competition or teaming up side by side, those moments were filled with laughter, playful banter, and memories he held close to his heart. Above all, he was a proud father of both of his daughters, a loving husband, and a devoted family man. His greatest joy was his family, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Lebanon Assembly of God, 1574 W. Main St., New Lebanon, OH 45345.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Tribute Funeral Homes, and again on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 28, 2026, with Pastor Mark Kirchhofer, Pastor Dan Moorhead, and Pastor Veronica Moorhead officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Greenville.

Stephen's legacy of faith, love, and kindness will live on in all who knew him.
