He was preceded in death by his parents and his younger sister Mary Helen Brittan Serna.

The family would like to thank the staff of Highland Park for the excellent care they took of Steve. And request that memorial be directed to Holy Rosary Parish or St. Agnes Academy Foundation in lieu of flowers.

A Rosary will be recited Friday, January 9th at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Father Matt Koperski will officiate and interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
