Stephen Kent Christopher

Stephen Kent Christopher, 67, of Columbia, passed away peacefully at his home on October 2, 2025.
He was born in Fulton, Missouri on July 13, 1958, to the late Richard and Ethel (Stephens) Christopher.
Kent was proud to be an over-the-road truck driver. He began his career with J.H. Ware, later drove for MFA, and ultimately spent more than 20 years with Warrington Oil as a tanker truck driver before retiring.
Outside of work, Kent was a passionate motor sports enthusiast. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, drag races, and following nearly any kind of motor sport. Kent also enjoyed relaxing with a cold Budweiser Beer, but most of all he enjoyed the time spent with his grandson Sawyer and making memories with his family.
Kent's memory will be cherished by his son, Shaun Christopher (Allie), daughter, Mary Christopher, grandson, Sawyer Christopher, along with many cousins.
Funeral services will be held at Maupin Funeral Home on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 7:00 pm with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Central Christian Church Cemetery on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 11:00 am.
