Stephen Conrad

MORTON – Stephen G. Conrad, 77, of Morton, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025, at his home.
He was born on September 22, 1948, in Easton, Illinois, to George and Marjorie (Walter) Conrad. Stephen married Shannon I. Hodack on April 16, 1977, in Springfield, Illinois. She preceded him in death on March 9, 2015. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Conrad.
Surviving are his son, John (Juley) Mikelonis of Raleigh, North Carolina; daughter, Karri Kimmey of Washington; grandson, Matthew (Jackie) Kimmey of Morton, Illinois; and brothers, Timothy (JoAnn) Conrad of Springfield, Illinois and Jack (Paula) Conrad of Arcadia, Florida; nephews, Faithe, Jude, Derek and Chris Conrad; and his partner, Molly Conrad.
Stephen worked for Enercon Engineering as an electrical engineer for 45 years. He was also a HAMM Radio operator.
Stephen enjoyed trout fishing in Colorado. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, especially fond of Harley Davidsons, and enjoyed watching in Formula One racing.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton, with Pastor Mike Klopfenstein officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
