On October 19, 2025, Stephen Martin Dubin, beloved husband of Georgianna Dubin (nee McCabe); devoted father of Peter and Marty Dubin; also survived by sisters in law Mary McCabe and Kate (Gary) Spindler and nephews James and Harry Spindler.

A previous marriage ended in divorce but Steve always considered the Murphys his family. Libby Murphy was like a mother to him. He loved spending time with Beth and David Darrell and all his other Murphy siblings and many nieces and nephews.

Steve graduated from the Boys Latin School of MD in 1979 and from Johns Hopkins University in 1984. He was a member of the '84 national championship lacrosse team. He returned to BL as a football and lacrosse coach and later became the director of alumni relations and then director of facilities. He was a true Laker.

He loved his boys, his dogs, watching lacrosse and football and family trips to Block Island, RI and Cape May, NJ each summer.

Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Rd. (beltway exit 26), on Friday, November 7th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at Boys' Latin School of Maryland, 822 W. Lake Ave., Baltimore, MD 21210, on Saturday, November 8th, at 10 AM. Interment private.
