Stephen J. Fifarek

Stephen J. Fifarek, 68, of Marinette, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022 at Aurora Medical Center-Bay Area. He was born December 26, 1953 in Marinette to John "Jack" and Dorothy (Hanson) Fifarek and was a lifelong area resident. He attended Marinette High School. For most of his life Steve did construction work and had been employed by LaCourt Concrete Construction among other companies. He also was a skilled carpenter. Steve was an avid outdoorsman, had done trapping in earlier years and continued to hunt and fish. He found his greatest accomplishment with inland trout fishing and always had many stories to tell about his pursuits. He was also a dedicated Green Bay Packer fan and loved his dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda; his mother, Dorothy Fifarek; a son, Christopher Fifarek; his grandchildren; one brother, Jim (Anita) Fifarek and one sister, Cathy Urbanek.
He was preceded in death by his father, John "Jack" Fifarek; and a son, Scottie John Fifarek.
It was his wish that no formal service be held. A family celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
